This is the general idea behind the working of this rig ~

Skinning joints with rotation limits, driven by IK Driver joints, driven by curve which is driven by the actual up and down mechanism

For the three wires going up and down with the crank, I used 3-degree curves which are skinned to the joints, and attached a few locators to the joints which I am using to fine-tune the curve, like making it pass through the actual hole

The original idea behind this rig was to make it as mechanical as possible​, mimicking how it would work in real life. At the end I decided to use some set driven keys to make the movement more smooth and appealing
